SRA Service Robot Arm

  The SRA robot arm is a strong and precise platform for service robotics, education and entertainment. Thanks to its integrated electronics and control the robot arm can be adapted to e.g. mobile platforms easily.

Drives: The drive modules are based on Maxon EC and DCX motors, two stage gears and integrated electronics. Hollow shafts allow a hidden cable laying.
The SRA is based on high precision Harmonic Drive gears in joints 2 and 3.

Control: The motor control modules are integrated into the robot arm structure. All modules are connected via CAN field bus.
With the robot control TinyControl a complete control envirnoment can be integrated. Example source code and ROS packages are available.
